I. Summary
Responsible for the total operation and management of the Laser Vision Center.
II. Essential Job Functions
· Motivate and inspire staff to achieve high standards
· Handle difficult issues in a timely manner while maintaining the highest integrity
· Sets high standards and challenging goals, gains commitment from team members and overcomes in spite of obstacles
· Provide regular coaching and performance feedback
· Anticipate hiring needs and works with corporate recruiting department to select quality associates, while building a team of diverse strengths
· Manage staffing schedule, center budget, and inventory to control center costs
· Committed to building a word of mouth referral business by providing excellent customer service and a high degree of patient satisfaction
· Effectively communicate corporate directives to the vision center team in a timely manner
III. Qualifications
· 2 to 5 years of people management experience
· Strong interpersonal skills required
· Retail management experience is highly preferred
· Budget, P&L, and sales experience.
· Effective oral and written communication skills are a must
· Open to change and willing to take on additional responsibilities as necessary
· Understands the local Optical Market and is focused on becoming the Market Leader by providing excellent patient care
· BS or AS in Business or Management strongly encouraged
- Minimum 2 years optical experience preferred
