Busy Retina specialist in South Park area who travels to Statesville one day a week is looking for a new team member after an internal promotion!!
SUMMARY
Provides medical treatment and ophthalmic care services to patients by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of Physician.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs.
Acquires blood pressure measurements and recordings of weight and height measurements.
Performs the following as needed; a scans, keratometry test, pupillary testing (APD monocular), records ptosis in mm in primary gaze, confrontational visual field testing, motility testing, visual acuity testing, tonometry, measuring, color vision testing, schirmer’s testing, hirschberg testing, blood glucose testing, check chambers, pachymetry, keratometry, and special testing as needed.
Cleans and sterilizes instruments to OSHA standards and requirements.
Requirements:
High School or High School equivalent
