Description:
Established medical and surgical Ophthalmology practice is seeking an experienced Insurance/Billing/Coding Department person for our Greenville, North Carolina office.
Billing and Insurance person is responsible for ensuring that the highest level of service is provided to patients and the office. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: motivating and leading staff to achieve desired department goals, ensuring the accuracy of payment posting, informing and updating upper management on changes and new insurance procedures that may be beneficial to company and achive optimal reimbursement for patient visits, assisting patients with questions about their balance, ensuring accurate coding of patient visits, obtaining all nessesary documentation for proper billing, other general duties as required.
We are seeking a motivated, self starter with a strong work ethic. Must be an innovative leader with a positive attitude and the ability to work on a team. Minimum of two years Ophthalmic insurance / billing experience strongly preferred. Strong computer skills are beneficial. Medical environment requiring strict attention to detail and the ability to analyze and improve current systems.
