OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT/VISUAL FIELD TECHNICIAN
Eye Physicians & Surgeons,PC is one of the largest practices in the Metro-Atlanta area. We have 8 physicians specializing in comprehensive eye care, corena diseases, glaucoma, diseases of the retina and vitreous, cataract, refractive surgery and pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus. Surgical services are performed at our on-site ASC.
We are searching for an Ophthalmic Assistant to perform Humphrey Visual Fields and assist Lead Ophthalmic Technicians with patients.
Applicants should have the following skills:
•Humphrey Visual Fields experience - minimum of one year
•H &P (have ability to obtain and clarify chief complaint and present illness)
•Lensometry
•Slit Lamp basics
•Refraction
•Applanation Tonometry
•Visual acuity
Qualification Requirements:
•Minimum of 1 year experience
•Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
•Professional appearance
•Be detailed oriented
•Must have legible handwriting
•Must have the ability to work efficiently and keep pace with our busy doctors
•Must be reliable in attendance
