Eye Physicians & Surgeons,PC is one of the largest practices in the Metro-Atlanta area. We have 8 physicians specializing in comprehensive eye care, corena diseases, glaucoma, diseases of the retina and vitreous, cataract, refractive surgery and pediatric ophthalmology & strabismus. Surgical services are performed at our on-site ASC.

We have an immediate opening for an ophthalmic technician.

Qualification Requirements:
•COA or COT certification preferred, will consider non-certified ophthalmic technicans with equivalent skills & experience
•Minimum of 1 year experience
•Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
•Professional appearance
•Be detailed oriented
•Must have legible handwriting
•Must have the ability to work efficiently and keep pace with our busy doctors
•Must be reliable in attendance

OPHTHALMIC SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
•H &P (have ability to obtain and clarify chief complaint and present illness)
•Lensometry (manual and automated)
•Keratometry (manual and automated)
•Slit Lamp Exam
•Manual refraction (Accurate, dependable subjective refraction)
•Auto refraction (Accurate, dependable subjective refraction)
•Applanation Tonometry
•Visual acuity
•IOL Master/Ascan
•Fundus photography
•OCT/HRT
•Humphrey Visual Fields
