Thomas Eye group is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician who can prepare patients for exam and procedures, To include but not limited to the following tasks:
Prepare patient’s chart for physician (procedures, informed consents, last visit notes), maintain clinical supplies, ability to utilize photo optical equipment as well as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to gather ophthalmic diagnostic information. Must have experience with taking intraocular pressures, operating lensometry, keratometry, auto and manual refractors, slit lamp, visual field testing, muscle testing and acuity pupil exam. Must be competent with instructing patients with medications, tests,and procedures.
