Digital Imaging Systems Installer/Trainer

Topcon Medical Systems is a world-leading designer and manufacturer of diagnostic equipment and software for the ophthalmic community. Our imaging, diagnostic, refractive, lens processing and surgical products are preferred by eye professionals throughout the world. Now, our Clinical Services Department is seeking an exceptional problem solver who can learn to provide expert installation of our advanced Digital Imaging Systems and then provide training and technical/clinical support to our customers, including ophthalmological practices, hospitals and universities nationwide. This high-impact position also performs product demonstrations, provides support at trade shows and offers recommendations on product and process improvements. 90% overnight travel is required.

To qualify, you’ll need 2-3 years clinical ophthalmology experience, ideally as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Retinal Angiographer (CRA). Knowledge of basic hardware and software applications such as MS Office, XP, NT, and networking applications is also required. Previous customer field support experience, ideally in a clinical environment, would be ideal. Additional requirements include strong verbal and written skills, the ability to write detailed reports, ability to work independently and prioritize your workload, a valid driver’s license and use of a car.
