This summer, Local Eye Site had the opportunity to hire an outstanding intern to help out with the authorship of this blog, promote content on our various social media channels, and help keep the Local Eye Site team on their toes during one of the busiest summers we have ever experienced at this company. Yesterday was Cynthia’s last day, and she leaves us with a short synopsis of what her experience was like working at Local Eye Site. Here’s what she had to say:
“It seems like the past ten weeks flew by. Working with and learning from the LES team this summer, I have not only grown to understand the business of a thriving company, but also the ins and outs of the eye care industry. I learned about how hard work and teamwork build the foundation that makes Local Eye Site so effective in this niche market. Every day is a fun and exciting adventure and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to work alongside the team. Unfortunately, as my internship comes to an end, I am sad that I cannot continue to experience the daily joy of working at Local Eye Site, but at the same time I am so thankful for the wealth of experiences and information I have learned from Local Eye Site. Thanks, LES team, for an amazing summer internship experience!”
Cynthia has returned for her final year as an undergraduate student to Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC where she is currently studying Business and Enterprise Management. We appreciate the hard work she put in to making our company the #1 employment resource in the eye care industry. Thank you, Cynthia!
